When is my office computer going to be upgraded?

Please check the  2013 Windows Upgrade Schedule.

I will not be in the office during the upgrade. What should I do?

Not to worry. As long as you have followed and completed the 2013 Windows Upgrade Instructions, OTM staff will power on the computer in your office and do our part. When you return, your computer will already be upgraded and ready for use.

I have a Suffolk issued laptop. Should I do anything different?

The upgrade steps are the same as everyone else. Please complete the 2013 Windows Upgrade Instructions while connected to the university network via the blue cable. Do not connect via wireless. Once you confirm you've completed the steps, we will provide further details.

Will the upgrade disrupt my work?

Yes. The Windows upgrade requires a few hours to complete. If you are on campus, we will coordinate with you personally to minimize disruption.

Will Office 2010 run on Windows 7?

Yes. Office 2010 will run on Windows 7.
