When in doubt as to whether the situation is an emergency, treat as an emergency and follow the steps listed.
In the event of an emergency, such as serious bodily injury employees should:
- Call the Suffolk University Police at (617) 573-8111
- SUPD will contact EMS, BFD, BPD as necessary
- Administer first aid, if properly trained
- Secure the scene
- Contact the Budget Office and Risk Management at (617) 573-8611 or (617) 973-1141 and the Office of Environmental Health & Safety at (617) 570-4849 or (617) 573-8628
- The Suffolk University Police should complete an Incident Report
- Notify Suffolk University Human Resources at (617)573-8415
