Below, you'll find the supported Operating Systems, supported Internet Browsers, and recommended system specifications for using Remote Access

Operating Systems
Windows 2000, XP, Vista or 7

Browsers
Internet Explorer 6.0 and above

Computer System
512MB memory  (1 GB or higher recommended)
Internet access (broadband recommended)
Propalms TSE Client

Best Practices

The following best practices are recommended before installing the remote access client and signing in to the system.

Office Computer

Please do the following prior to using the Remote Access system:

   1. Prepare your desktop for remote use
         1. Move files and folders from your desktop to your My Documents folder.  A messy or full desktop will increase logon and logoff times considerably.
         2. Remove any image, set as desktop wallpaper, to increase performance.
         3. Once your desktop is cleared, log off your computer to apply these changes.  You may then log back on again.

   2. Remotely accessible documents
         1. Be sure that all files and folders you wish to access remotely are within your My Documents folder or other shared drives that you have access to.

Remote Computer

Please do the following prior to using the Remote Access system:

   1. Antivirus Software
         1. Ensure that you have antivirus software installed on your computer.
         2. If you do not, free antivirus software is available for download from AVG (http://free.avg.com).

   2. Windows Updates
         1. Update your Windows computer with the latest updates from Microsoft.
         2. Access the updates by pressing Start > All Programs > Windows Update
         3. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete any required updates
