• Isolate the area

6.2.1 Microorganism spill requiring bloodborne pathogen containment

• Attend to injured or contaminated persons and remove them from exposure
• Call SUPD at (617)573-8111 or 8333.
• Contact the Office of Environmental Health & Safety at (617) 570-4849 or (617)573-8628
• Notify people in the immediate area of the spill
• Personal protective equipment must be worn such as gloves and protective clothing
• Close doors to affected area and wait for assistance
