Blackboard Basics - Monday, August 20 10:00 AM - 11:30 AMIn this fundamental workshop you will learn how to access Blackboard, and how to customize your course menu and style. You will learn how to navigate through the course, and become familiar with common tasks such as creating announcements, and adding textbook information and course content. You will be introduced to all of the Blackboard tools. Blackboard Course Evaluation - Monday, August 20 12:30 PM - 2:00 PMYou will learn how to navigate the Grade Center and customize its appearance to suit your needs. You will learn to create columns to manage and calculate grades and explore the My Grades tool and experience how grades will appear to your students.

You will become familiar with downloading the software, and receive hands-on experience in configuring, recording, and publishing the recordings to Blackboard. Blackboard Wimba Classroom - Wednesday, August 22 12:30 PM - 2:00 PMWimba Classroom is the synchronous tool in BlackBoard that allows for real time text chat, audio and video collaboration.You will learn how to add Wimba Classroom to your course menu, set-up a room, and practice using the instructor and participant tools.
