Suffolk University's first Trading Room and Financial Center was established in 2012. It is located on the 5th Floor of 8 Ashburton Place (Sawyer Building), Boston, MA 02108 and was designed by the Office of Technology Management.
The Center was established to provide students, faculty and staff access to a wide collection of financial technologies where they can apply their knowledge in a simulated environment, using real data. The new facility contains high-end technology and equipment, including 29 workstations, six flat-screen panels, and a stock ticker. With dual-screen displays, live data streams from Thompson Reuters, and interactive software like Compustat, CRSP, StockTrak, Bloomberg, and Morningstar, students can enhance their learning and professional development.
