The upcoming workshops are being offered face-to-face and online. All of the workshops are 1 1/2 hours in length, which gives you opportunity to directly apply and practice what you are learning.

Introduction to Collaborate Web Conferencing - Wednesday, October 24 1:00 PM - 2:15 PM
This face-to-face workshop is designed for individuals with no experience using any kind of Web Conferencing tool. You will have opportunity to explore the user interface as well as experience many of the ways in which the software can used. There will be ample opportunity to ask questions.

Moving to Collaborate Web Conferencing - Monday, October 29 10:00 AM - 11:30 AM
This face-to-face session is especially geared for those who have experience using the existing synchronous platform, Wimba Classroom. You will have the opportunity to work within the application to see first-hand the differences between the two tools, and begin to learn how to use Collaborate. Those who have facilitated web conferences using tools other than Wimba Classroom are also invited to attend.

Facilitating Collaborate Web Conferencing Remotely - By Appointment
These are individual or small group sessions in which you will meet remotely with an Instructional Technologist in a Collaborate room. During this time you will have the opportunity to practice working with the instructor tools as you might during a regular class session.
