Microsoft Office 2007 for home is available to all Suffolk University faculty and staff through the Home Use Program (HUP) benefit. This program enables faculty and staff to get a licensed copy of Microsoft® Office to install and use on the home computer.

How can faculty and staff obtain this Microsoft Home Use Program (HUP) benefit?

There are two ways of getting Office 2007 for home:

1. Bring your computer to OTM and we will install it for you. You must open a ticket and schedule a time with us.

2. You can download or order the software online at the Microsoft HUP Web site. To access this web site, you must use the unique program code provided by the university. The program code is only distributed to eligible employees. Please contact OTM to receive this code.

How many copies of Office 2007 can faculty and staff get?

Faculty and staff are only eligible for one (1) installation of Office 2007.

To access the Microsoft HUP site, you should:

1. Go to http://hup.microsoft.com/
2. Select the country you want the order to be shipped to and choose the language for viewing the order Web site.
3. Enter your Suffolk e-mail address and program code.
4. Place your order online, and it will be shipped to the location you have chosen. Please note that a fulfillment fee of $10 will be charged to cover packaging, shipping, and handling costs of the MS Office software CD. Alternatively, you can download the package to your computer and Microsoft will send you the activation key via email.

The following software is included with your order: Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, InfoPath, OneNote, Groove and Publisher.
