When in doubt as to whether the situation is an emergency, treat as an emergency and follow the steps listed.
In the event of an emergency, such as serious bodily injury, employees should call the Suffolk University Police Department (SUPD) at extension 8111 or (617) 573-8111 to report the emergency. SUPD will:
- Contact EMS, BFD, BPD as necessary
- Administer first aid
- Secure the scene
- Contact Risk Management at (617) 973-1141, the Office of Environmental Health & Safety at (617) 570-4849 or (617) 573-8628, and Human Resources at (617) 573-8415
- SUPD will forward a completed Incident Report to Risk Management and Human Resources
