SPSS, Inc. is the name of a company that produces a computer program SPSS, used for statistical analysis. Between 2009 and 2010 the premier software for SPSS was called PASW (Predictive Analytics SoftWare) Statistics. The company announced July 28, 2009 that it was being acquired by IBM. As of January 2010, it became "SPSS: An IBM Company"

IBM SPSS software is installed on all computers in the Sawyer Computing Center classrooms and is available to SBS and CAS faculty on request.

For SBS Faculty Only:Our SPSS license allows for faculty home installs.  We have a 24 hour CD media check out policy.  Please cannot loan you the install CD due to licensing restrictions. You can either bring in your computer on campus or contact us for further instructions.
