In Accordance with the Higher Education Opportunity Act of 2008, Suffolk University has developed a policy for notifying the designated emergency contact for a student who is residing in campus housing (including leased properties) and who is reported / determined to be missing.  The University also has developed this policy to capture to locate any student that is a non resident who is reported missing to the University.  In situations involving students studying abroad see 1.4.4.
