For SBS faculty: Effective Tuesday, May 11, 2010 there will be some changes to the Blackboard tabs you see The University is upgrading to Blackboard 9. Beginning on March 8, 2010 at 2 pm, when you log into My Cruiser, you will see an additional tab, . The "Blackboard 9 Test," Tab on the far right left side of the My Cruiser Tab. Clicking on this will bring screen will take you to the new version of Blackboard, which will become the ongoing Blackboard site effective May 11, 2010.. Here you will find all Summer I and II 2010 courses. You will also find all your previous courses starting with Fall 08, except Spring 2010 courses.
Because Spring 2010 courses could not be transferred to the new system while they are in use, Spring 2010 courses will not appear in the "Blackboard" tab for approximately two weeks. If you need to access Spring 2010 classes, please click on a second Blackboard tab in My Cruiser, labeled "Blackboard 7.3" (This will be on the far right of the My Cruiser Screen) By the end of May, all courses will be available in the "Blackboard Tab" and the "Blackboard Tab 7.3" will be removedOn May 11, you will see only one "Blackboard" tab, and that will bring you to the new site. The former site will be unavailable after the deadline for grade submissions on May 10, 2010.
