This document will walk you through installation of the Panopto CourseCast Recorder on a Windows based computer.
1. Download the Panopto Recorder software
Download the Recorder software from http://coursecast.suffolk.edu/Panopto/software/PanoptoRecorder.exe
2. Locate software on your computer
Locate the file (PanoptoRecorder.exe) where you saved it on your computer and click to begin the installation process
3. Run installer and select the destination folder
When prompted, accept the default settings and click Next on the “Panopto Focus Recorder Setup” window
4. Click Install to begin the installation
Click the Install button when ready.
5. Complete installation
Once the software completes its installation process, the Panopto Recorder screen appears.
6. Restart computer
The Panopto Recorder has been successfully installed on your computer. It is recommended you close the recorder software and restart your computer at this time.
